Activities

 

 

It is an important part of the Elm House philosophy that our residents live their lives to the full and feel that they are still very much part of the community.

To help us achieve this we have two activities co-ordinators who are responsible for arranging a continuous and varied programme of stimulating activities both within the home and outside. Wherever possible we like to involve relatives, friends and members of the local community.

 

 

Current Activities include:

 

• Arts and crafts

• Quizzes and Games

• Bingo

• Musical entertainment by singers and musicians,

• Discussion groups

• Reminiscence sessions

• Outings, Churchtown; botanic gardens, parks; Hesketh Park

• Barbeques and garden parties

• One-to-one sessions

• Big Screen Cinema Experience

• Visiting hairdresser every fortnight
