"Husbands mother is a resident of Elm House and has been so for two years, on visiting have been impressed with the staff and their dedication to the residents. They try their best to care for the needs of individuals. Vincent the activity arranger does a marvellous job of arranging events and activities for those that want to join in. The home is clean and the staff also friendly to visitors.

"The Nursing Home is a warm and caring environment and the staff are completely focused on providing the best care possible for the residents. My mother went to Elm House for palliative care and immediately settled thanks to the warm welcome and excellent care she was given. She described it as living in a hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending Elm House for your loved one as I have witnessed the care and compassion by all staff alike.

"My mother has been a resident in Elm House for two and a half years. On visiting, I have always been very impressed with the care given to mum. The staff are caring and excellent, and the range of activities are as diverse and interesting as mum is able to partake in. My impression is of caring staff who are very interested in the residents and always interact with them and aim to improve their lives.

"I was very impressed with the quality of care delivered. Also very impressed with the meal preparation. My Father-in-law always enjoyed his food right up to when he died. Staff were always very courteous and friendly. The Matron was extremely helpful and very supportive when my Father-in-law died. R.I.P. Any person asking me if I could recommend a nursing home, I always recommend Elm House. I felt very lucky to have found such a good home. My Father-in-law was bed bound so did not participate in the activities available.

"To All of you,
Thank you for looking after A my mother.
It was always a comfort knowing that she was being so well looked after and was comfortable in her final years.
Kind regards,

"Choosing a care home for a loved one is like choosing a first school for your child. Will they be happy? What are the reports like? What are the facilities like? Etc etc etc. And you still walk away in tears. Having looked around at several care homes, including so-called "posh ones", my family and I visited Elm House on behalf of our Father who was in the latter stages of life.
From the moment we stepped through the door we knew that this was the right place for him. The staff are so kind and understanding and the place is spotless. Nothing was too much trouble either for our Father or us as a family. Every step of the way we were kept informed and consulted. I genuinely could not single out one particular member of staff as being exceptional - they all are. Dad passed away peacefully surrounded by people who cared for and loved him. My family and I are so grateful to you all, thank you. This is not a care home, it is an Oasis of Kindness.

"My father in law was admitted to the home due to his deteriorating health, and through the three weeks he was there, he was always treated with respect and dignity. Our visits were always welcomed, regardless of time of day, and by all the staff who were supportive and helpful at all times. Their help and support being very much appreciated, through the difficult times to the eventual passing of my father in law.
